Today's horoscope:
"Changes are coming, but at least you won't be bored."
SURE THING! I can think of only a handful of elements in my life that are staying constant lately. And I'm definitely far from bored, which is making the time fly by at a lovely speed.
I hung out with my besties at a CD release party for Marshall Jensen this weekend. There was a BBQ and fun little concert in Jeremy Winn's backyard. I sure love acoustic music. And Marshall is good! Ya'll should give him a listen sometime. Summer nights + good music + friends = awesome.
It seems like I went to a lot of doctor appointments last week. I went to chemo with my Mom so she wouldn't have to be alone- we ate snacks and
watched episodes of the office on her ipod while she shot up the big drugs. I went for a gyno visit, and the doctor reminded me of Meryl Streep somehow, but made me feel comfortable and concerned about my health. And last but not least, the ENT who I'm pretty sure thinks that all I want in life is sinus surgery. He seemed really nervous to tell me that my problem isn't serious enough for surgery at all... as if that's not GREAT news! He made fun of me for being a music major grad student though, and told me that I'll just have to live with my post nasal drip for the rest of my life. I was definitely sick of him by the end.
Breaking news- I'm trying out vegetarianism for a month... not so much because of animal rights and PITA whatever, but because of the way meat and dairy products feel in my digestive system... and that way is SICK! It's a completely selfish experiment, and so far the results are good. If things keep going this way, I might just be a veg for life! :)
